Assoc. Prof. Dr. Okan Yaşar

Biography

An academic and consultant specialising in artificial intelligence, digital transformation and information security, Dr. Okan Yaşar helps organisations adapt to a rapidly changing technology ecosystem. Through university–industry collaborations, R&D projects and applied training programmes, he aims to help organisations reach not just theoretical knowledge but concrete, measurable outcomes. With the models he has developed — particularly in AI adoption, digital maturity modelling and data-driven decision making — he guides organisations through their strategic transformation journeys.

Dr. Yaşar’s approach to training and consulting combines theory with practice, actively involves participants in the process and focuses directly on business results. In programmes designed for audiences ranging from senior executives to technical teams, he aims for high impact in AI applications, creative problem solving, information security and digital transformation. His goal is to help organisations build strong, flexible and sustainable capabilities — not only for today’s needs but also for the uncertainties of the future.

He is currently a faculty member in Information Security Technology at the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, Bahçeşehir University.
